The Opéra Liège is the first zero single-use plastic hotel in France.
We have stopped, among many other things, the following plastic-made pacakging:
+24,000 plastic bottles. +55,000 cosmetics packaging. +16,000 plastic bags
However, our ambition to minimize our impact on the environment did not stop there, and we are still working to continue to achieve this goal.
Environmental charter
Our teams are trained in eco-friendly gestures, the challenges of sustainable tourism and environmental preservation as well as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach.
The Initiative
In January 2020, all of the hotel spaces will no longer contain any single-use plastic packaging.
The rooms, the reception and the breakfast will offer concrete alternatives while preserving the service and quality of a 4 star hotel.
The Approach
We have selected partners combining quality and durability in order to offer 100% plastic-free single-use products. A real challenge for all the hotel teams, definitely ambassadors of the project.
+100,000 plastic packaging
We remove more than 100,000 single-use plastic packaging a year as introducing new travel trends. The hotel Opéra Liège, a pioneer in France, is proud to participate in the transformation of the hospitality industry.
